  Corona Virus has effected our entire world from across the globe and made many effects on our everyday lives. This doesn't exclude sports, or fashion either. People have had to adapt to wear masks and other gear to ensure the safety of themselves and others around them. Almost every sporting event has either been canceled or modified in some way to keep the players, fans, and other participants safe from the spread. But through all the sorrow, we still find some way to bring in the humor to keep every happy and not depressed during these times. Sports and fashion have influenced each other which creates trends. You can see this in everyday fashion as it is not just professional sports, it’s also the personal fitness that you find in the gym. This is a huge hit in the industry as people on Tik Tok influence the fashion trends as well.   I see people wearing Lululemon leggings to work as they are yoga pants. You can see they have sponsored athlete Nick Foles who is a professional quarterback and made him a lead ambassador to encourage sales.   Anytime someone mentions the game of Basketball, they all have one key player and influencer in their minds, Michael Jordan. MJ not only made a huge impact on the court and for all the teams he played with, but also off the court with his icon sneakerline in collaboration with Nike. Michael partnered with Nike back in 1984 after he helped the USA team take home the gold medal in basketball. The first shoe was an instant success, bringing Nike $130 million in sales just in the first year alone! Since then MJ and Nike have teamed up countless times for many different iterations of "Air Jordan" shoes, and different styles, colors, and patterns for each shoe as well. His shoes have done so well throughout the last few decades that Nike has even rereleased some versions for resell since many never got the chance to buy them in the first coming years as they were released. Off--White is very well known popular street clothing brand that has been on the rise for the last few years in Fashion. The clothing brand was started by a very talented Artist and Fashion Designer named Virgil Abloh. Virgil at one point in his career worked as a lead fashion designer for companies such as Louis Vuitton, and has made huge contributions to the fashion industry during his time of work. Back in 2018, Virgil released an amazing collection of clothing paying homage to Sports wear and street wear together. During this release he had many amazing sports athletes model during the show, including the track stars pictures above in the new designs by Virgil. As you can see, he took the artistic styling of everyday track clothing, and combined it with his street wear style. When it comes to supporting the athlete you can see people starting to dress like them and before you know it, a fashion trend begins.  The athletes  fashion choices are something we attach to in order to be more like them. In this photo from last September, LeBron James was seen wearing a hoodie with the message, "Change isn't made by watching from the sidelines." This is a statement LeBron wanted his fans to see, and to acknowledge ahead of the last election. It truly shows how many athletes can influence their fans with the clothing they wear and the messages they want to spread to the world, and how they do it.
