2020 was a historic year for many reasons, but one in particular that stood out to me was the impressive uproar in the fight against discrimination and hatred of Black lives in our country. This fight for change showed many supporters include such big organizations like the NBA. After a beautiful idea of allowing athletes in soccer games to add special BLM messages to their uniforms, the chairmen of the NBA thought it would be best to implement this idea into his organization as well. He allowed for players to pick a message they supported and then present that message on their jerseys during the games they played. Not only did this show how much support for the cause the NBA and the players themselves had, but also helped spread the message to the fans as well. Corona Virus has effected our entire world from across the globe and made many effects on our everyday lives. This doesn't exclude sports, or fashion either. People have had to adapt to wear masks and other gear to ensure the safety of themselves and others around them. Almost every sporting event has either been canceled or modified in some way to keep the players, fans, and other participants safe from the spread. But through all the sorrow, we still find some way to bring in the humor to keep every happy and not depressed during these times.
